Processes that Protect the Island

Common Area Management

In preparation for the transition of Spring Island governance to the membership, the Stewardship Committee was formed to address the question of how to keep Spring Island looking like “one island,” whether the land was residential home sites or owned by the POA, Club or Trust. This Committee would be responsible for pond and trail management. A roadside management plan was developed that reflected the vision created by the original Master Plan. The Stewardship Committee is composed of representatives appointed by the Trust and the POA.
